Fresh air, open fields, and a whole lot of wonder

These adventures get kids moving, exploring, and connecting with the natural world — animals, gardens, water, and all.

On the Farm & Outdoors

  • Kids set off on a mission across the farm — searching for animal tracks, garden clues, and hidden nature treasures along the trail. With a checklist in hand and curiosity leading the way, they'll explore corners of the farm they never knew existed. Ends with a show-and-tell around the picnic blanket where every discovery gets its moment.

  • Each child gets their hands in the soil and plants their very own seedling to take home. Along the way they learn what plants need to grow, meet the garden's friendly pollinators, and leave with a little pot of life they can watch change day by day. Simple, grounding, and genuinely magical for young ones.

  • A guided walk to visit horses and ponies — with plenty of time to offer treats, ask questions, and brush a gentle companion. Kids learn how to approach animals safely and respectfully, and every family leaves with a keepsake photo from the visit. A favorite for first-time farm visitors of any age.

  • Families try their hand at catch-and-release fishing, then spread out for a picnic by the water. A nature bingo card keeps curious eyes scanning the shoreline the whole time — birds, bugs, ripples, and clouds all count. A relaxed, unhurried outing that lets families simply be together outdoors.

Create & Make

  • Finger painting meets farm life as kids create their own barnyard masterpiece using stamps made from vegetables and fruits straight from the garden. Carrots, peppers, corn cobs — every stamp tells a story. Every canvas goes home frame-ready, and every shirt goes home a little more colorful than it arrived.

  • Little hands mix, roll, and decorate no-bake treats — think peanut butter oat balls, fruit kabobs, and chocolate-dipped rice crispy bites. No oven, no fuss — just the joy of making something delicious from scratch. Kids leave with a recipe card and a box of what they made, ready to impress the whole family at home.

  • Children gather leaves, seed pods, and wildflowers on a guided collection walk through the farm, then press and arrange their finds into framed botanical art. Move & Explore

  • A guided hike along the farm's trails turns into a hands-on field expedition. Armed with bug-catching jars and a field guide, kids hunt for beetles, butterflies, and rolly-pollies, then learn to identify the plants and wildflowers they pass — what's edible, what pollinators love, and what's just plain interesting. Every little naturalist gets an explorer's checklist to fill in along the way and a "junior naturalist" badge at the finish.

  • A field day of classic games — sack races, tug-of-war, egg-and-spoon relays, and a team scavenger hunt to close it out. Cheering, laughing, and friendly competition are guaranteed.
